“UC Sampdoria announces the signing of the player Jose Rodolfo Pires Ribeiro, better known as Dodo, on a temporary basis from Inter," a statement on Sampdoria’s website announced.
Dodo made 20 appearances in his first season in Serie A. However, he made just one appearance in all competitions in the first half of the 2015-16 campaign.
